Collector Reviews Public Services in Rural Bhind

Bhind District's newly appointed Collector, Pawan Jain, conducted an intensive tour of villages Sadha and Adokhar in the Mehgaon development block on Friday as part of the 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan'. During the visit, he engaged directly with villagers to understand their problems and meticulously inspected the functioning of government institutions.

Focus on Basic Amenities and Service Quality

The Collector primarily focused on the quality of education, nutrition, ration distribution, sanitation, and health services. In Gram Sadha, he made surprise inspections of the Government Primary and Middle Schools. He gathered information on teacher and student attendance, checked the quality of the mid-day meal, and observed the kitchen facilities.

He also inspected the Anganwadi Center at Mohar Singh Ka Pura, scrutinizing the nutrition provided to children and the center's arrangements. At the government fair-price shop, he inspected the quality of rations distributed to beneficiaries.

Ensuring Cleanliness and Health Access

The Collector ordered the Janpad CEO and Gram Panchayat Secretary to ensure cleanliness around schools and Anganwadi centers. While inspecting the Ayushman Arogya Mandir in Adokhar village, he assessed the availability of medicines and staff presence. He directed the center operator to coordinate with the Panchayat Secretary to maintain the cleanliness of the premises.

Administration Pledges Zero Tolerance for Negligence

Collector Pawan Jain emphasized that any negligence in education, nutrition, and health services in rural areas would not be tolerated. The inspection program was attended by Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma, District Panchayat CEO Veersingh Chauhan, Additional Collector Rajan B. Nadia, and Mehgaon एसडीएम Navneet Sharma, among other district officials.

During the tour, administrative officials issued necessary directives to make the implementation of schemes more effective. This visit is considered significant for assessing the ground reality of government services in line with the objectives of the 'Jan Vishwas Abhiyan'.
