CMO Expresses Strong Displeasure Over Mela Park's State

Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Virendra Chakravarty of the Bhind Municipality has voiced profound dissatisfaction regarding the pervasive filth and disarray at the park located in the city's Mela Ground. After assessing the park's deplorable conditions during an unscheduled inspection, the CMO issued stern directives to the concerned officials for immediate remedial action.

During the inspection, scattered garbage was found throughout the park premises, causing inconvenience to citizens. In response, CMO Virendra Chakravarty summoned Health Officer Narendra Gupta. He mandated not only the assurance of regular cleaning in the park but also the execution of a special cleaning campaign to sanitize the entire area.

Focus on Basic Amenities and Repairs

The CMO also identified the park's deteriorating basic amenities and ordered Engineer Amit Sharma to commence repair work without delay. This includes the urgent mending of the park's damaged boundary wall, maintenance of the non-functional machines at the open gym, and a permanent solution for waterlogging issues within the premises.

Particular emphasis was placed on prioritizing the repair of the drainage system to prevent water accumulation caused by rain or other factors. During this surprise inspection, local Councillor Manoj Jain, Mandal President Bittu Jain, and other distinguished citizens and public representatives were also present.

Citizens Appreciate Swift Action

Local residents have lauded the CMO's prompt action, expressing hope that these directives will help the Mela Park regain its former beauty and well-maintained state. CMO Virendra Chakravarty clarified that any negligence in the cleanliness and upkeep of public spaces will not be tolerated. He assured that the progress of improvement works would be regularly reviewed in the coming days to ensure compliance with the issued directives.
