Surprise Inspection of Ward 11 Reveals Civic Issues
Bhind, Madhya Pradesh | September 7, 2026 - Municipal Council Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Virendra Chakravarti conducted a surprise inspection of Ward No. 11 in Bhind city on Monday. The inspection, carried out under the directives of Collector Kirodi Lal Meena, focused on the ward's internal roads, drains, and sewage systems.
Officials Rebuked for Negligence and Encroachments
Witnessing the pervasive disarray, particularly the encroachments on roads and piles of construction material, CMO Chakravarti severely reprimanded the officials and staff present. He took a serious view of local problems and sewage blockages, issuing strict instructions for the immediate and permanent resolution of all issues.
Encroachments and Construction Material Obstruction
The CMO observed that residents had placed large quantities of sand, gravel, and other construction materials on public roads, causing significant obstruction to the movement of local residents. He also expressed strong displeasure over temporary encroachments along the roadsides.
Directive Issued for Immediate Removal of Encroachments
The Municipal Council staff have been strictly directed to ensure the prompt removal of construction materials and all encroachments from the roads. CMO Chakravarti emphasized that the administration will adopt a firm stance against anyone impeding the city's cleanliness and ensuring smooth traffic flow.
