Kidnapping Plot Thwarted, Businessman Rescued

Bhind, Madhya Pradesh: In a daring operation, the Bhind police have successfully foiled a plot to kidnap a businessman from Sadar Bazaar. The Kotwali police have arrested three perpetrators and seized the black Scorpio vehicle used in the crime. The abducted businessman has been safely recovered from the Chambal ravines.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 1st around 7 PM in Sadar Bazaar. Three unidentified individuals engaged in an argument and altercation with the businessman over an old financial transaction. They then threatened to kill him, forcibly put him into their black Scorpio, and fled towards the ravines.

Police Act Swiftly to Rescue Businessman

Upon receiving the information about the businessman's abduction, the police administration sprang into action. Led by Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma and Additional Superintendent of Police Pradeep Patel, and under the guidance of City Superintendent of Police Niranjan Singh Rajput and SDOP Ater Ravindra Vaskale, multiple teams from the Kotwali police were formed. These teams immediately began an investigation to solve the case.

Success Through CCTV and Cyber Cell

The police teams thoroughly reviewed CCTV footage from the vicinity of the crime scene and activated their informant network. With the assistance of the Cyber Cell, the movement of the abducted businessman and the accused was traced. Based on precise information, the police conducted a raid in the ravines of Ater tehsil and safely rescued the businessman.

Following a complaint filed by the businessman, a case (Crime No. 424/26) was registered at the City Kotwali Police Station under sections 140(2), 140(3), 115(2), 296(B), 351(3) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita). The investigation is ongoing.

Accused Apprehended from Chambal Ravines

After ensuring the safe rescue of the businessman, the police teams continued their search for the accused. Acting on intelligence from an informant, police swiftly apprehended the three accused from the Chambal ravines in the Ater police station area. The Scorpio vehicle (MP 30 ZA 0024) used in the commission of the crime was also confiscated.

The police are currently conducting detailed interrogations with the accused to gather more information about the incident. The safely recovered businessman has been reunited with his family. Several officers played a significant role in this commendable operation, including Inspector Mukesh Shakya (Station House Officer, City Kotwali), Inspector Mahesh Sharma (Station House Officer, Ater), Sub-Inspector Amit Singh Sikarwar, Neetendra Mavai, Ganesh Tomar, Brijendra Singh Tomar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Mohammad Kasim Khan, Head Constables Jitendra Singh Sikarwar, Harveer Singh, Ajay Sharma, Constables Sourabh Sharma, Sandeep Rajawat, Raghavendra Tomar, Yatendra Rajawat, Abhishek Yadav, Aman Pratap Singh, Anand Dixit, and Constable Driver Aqeel Uddin.
