Grand Religious Event at Shri Banganga Dham

The ancient Shri Banganga Dham pilgrimage site in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, is set to host a significant religious event. From October 5th to October 10th, a Srimad Bhaktamal Katha will be organized, aiming to connect devotees with the ideals of devotion and saintly traditions. Preparations for this event are currently underway with great enthusiasm.

During the Katha, Jagadguru Shri 1008 Shri Ramanandacharya Vallabhacharya Ji Peethadheeshwar, Shri Ram Harshana Maithila Sakya, from Shri Dham Ayodhya, will narrate the characters of saints and devotees as described in the Bhaktamal. Mahamandaleshwar Mahant Shri Narayan Das Ji Maharaj will provide his sacred guidance to the entire program from the Banganga Dham pilgrimage site.

Special Pitru Yajna Alongside Katha

In addition to the religious narrative, a significant Pitru Yajna will also be organized. This Yajna will commence on September 26th and continue until the final day of the Katha, October 10th. During this Yajna, devotees will offer oblations with prayers for the peace and salvation of their ancestors.

The organizers stated that this event aims to spread the ideals of saintly traditions and devotion to the masses. The event is expected to be a major draw for local devotees.

Special Rituals and Arrangements

Several special rituals will be performed during this religious program. These include the recitation of 108 Gita recitations, Srimad Bhagwat Katha, Shri Ram Raksha Stotra, Tatkal Sankat Nivaran Stotra, Panch Ratna Paath, and Prapatti Prabha Srot.

Arrangements for the pandal, yajna shala, and seating for devotees at Shri Banganga Dham are in the final stages. Committee members have confirmed that the Katha will be held daily at the scheduled time.

Shri Banganga Dham is a prominent pilgrimage site in Shivpuri, hosting various religious programs annually. This year's Bhaktamal Katha and Pitru Yajna have generated particular excitement among local devotees.
