Devotional Evening Marks Paryushan Culmination in Narmadapuram
Narmadapuram, September 26, 2026 – The Shri Taran Taran Digambar Jain Chaityalaya in Narmadapuram was the venue for a special religious program held to mark the conclusion of the Paryushan festival and the auspicious occasion of the full moon.
A devotional Bhajan Sandhya was organized, with enthusiastic participation from the community's women. The program was expertly conducted by Neerja Faujdar and Ekta Faujdar.
Honoring Devotees for Austerity
The highlight of the ceremony was the grand honor bestowed upon devotee sisters who had successfully completed ten fasts. Subhangi Gilla, Purvi Maste, Aarti Mahant, and Tanu Mahant were felicitated with shawls, coconuts, and pearl necklaces, acknowledging their arduous penance.
Furthermore, the senior religious teacher of the Taran community, Vidha Behan, along with Archana Subodh Jain and Rakhi Jain, were also recognized and rewarded for their significant contributions.
Community Unity on Display
The event showcased the unity of the community, with a large number of senior women, along with young women, daughters-in-law, and daughters, in attendance. Many women, including Abhilasha Jain, Vijay Rani, Uday Rani Jain, Urmila Jain, Suman Jain, and Sandhya Mahant Jain, presented bhajans, filling the atmosphere with devotion.
Several other female members, such as Anita Jain, Sheela Jain, Namrata Mahant, Vandana Samaiya, Varsha Jain, Neeta Gilla, and Shanti Jain, also participated in the festivities.

All members celebrated the full moon festival with deep devotion. This religious gathering conveyed a powerful message of unity and mutual cooperation within the community.
