Bhadouria Rejects Rahul Gandhi's Allegations as 'Illusions of Lies'

Kamla Bhadouria, the Zila Panchayat President of Bhind, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party, has termed the questions raised by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding the Election Commission and voter lists as an 'illusion of lies'. She stated that the Congress leadership should cease targeting constitutional institutions in their frustration over defeat.

Addressing a press conference in Bhind, she clarified that the Congress's allegations are completely baseless and detrimental to the country's democratic system. Mrs. Bhadouria emphasized that both the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission have clarified their positions on the matter.

Election Commission's Process Deemed Constitutional

Referencing a meeting of the Election Commission on September 26, she informed that all three Election Commissioners unanimously declared the Special Intensive Revision process a constitutional decision. She added that the Congress's insistence on agitating this issue despite this reflects their petty mindset.

Questions on Election Commission's Functioning Denied

The Zila Panchayat President also questioned the veracity of media reports, allegedly considered credible by Rahul Gandhi, concerning the Election Commission's operations. She asserted that these reports have no basis after the Election Commission's clear explanation.

Furthermore, citing the Supreme Court's valid decision on May 27, 2026, concerning the declaration of Form-6, she asked the Congress if they do not respect the decisions of the apex judiciary. Mrs. Bhadouria outright dismissed disputes related to the Cabinet Secretary's letter and the ECI-NET system, calling it unfortunate to politicize administrative matters by linking them to the electoral process.

She also clarified that a committee of experts from IT and IIIT is already working to ensure technical security, maintaining complete transparency in the process. She stressed that the integration of the ECI-NET system into administrative functions is a standard practice designed to enhance efficiency.

Sarcasm on Congress's History

Taking a dig at the Congress's history, Mrs. Bhadouria recalled that this is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has targeted constitutional institutions. She stated that calling EVMs 'black boxes', making indecent remarks about the judiciary, and questioning the bravery of the army have been part of his political character.

She also criticized the tendency to defame Indian democracy abroad, which she described as unbecoming of any responsible politician. She highlighted past instances where Congress leaders have allegedly undermined national institutions.

Five Direct Questions Posed to Congress

Finally, Zila Panchayat President Kamla Bhadouria urged the Congress to introspect by asking five direct questions. She stated that elections are won through public service and policies, not by putting constitutional institutions on trial.

She demanded clarity from the Congress on whether they genuinely believe in the country's constitutional institutions or if their politics is solely limited to spreading confusion. Mrs. Bhadouria advised Rahul Gandhi that it would be more appropriate to analyze their own functioning and policies rather than blaming institutions for defeat.
