Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh personally led a surprise late-night inspection on Friday along Brigade Road, targeting several pubs and restaurants. The operation aimed to verify strict compliance with police regulations, with a particular focus on prescribed closing hours.

A team comprising police and Central Crime Branch (CCB) officials participated in the surprise checks. The inspection covered numerous establishments, including popular pubs and dining venues known for their evening operations.

The primary objective of the inspection, as stated by Commissioner Singh, was to confirm whether the establishments were adhering to the stipulated operating hours and other rules set by the police department.
