He stated that those from Bangladesh and the Rohingya are not Indian citizens and should not be allowed to vote. He refutes claims that Muslims are being deliberately disenfranchised, stating that deletions affected both Muslims and the Matua community.

BJP's Stance on Infiltration

Thakur reiterated the BJP’s firm stance against illegal infiltration. He accused the TMC government of not securing the borders to allow infiltrators to vote for the party.

He stated the TMC government has been obstructing border fencing. The BJP plans to improve border security to prevent further infiltration.

Addressing Withheld State Funds Allegations

Mamata Banerjee has accused the Centre of withholding state funds. Thakur countered that Banerjee created problems for Union government projects in West Bengal.
