Major Step Towards a Cleaner Balrampur
In a significant move towards transforming Balrampur into a clean, beautiful, and garbage-free city, the Municipal Council has secured administrative and financial approval amounting to ₹2 crore 62 lakh 94 thousand. This funding is designated for the scientific disposal of approximately 65,000 metric tonnes of legacy waste accumulated over the years.
This allocation is intended for the establishment of state-of-the-art processing machinery, which is expected to mark a milestone in modernizing the city's sanitation system. The approval was made possible through the persistent efforts of Municipal Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh 'Dhiru', with significant guidance from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Urban Development Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma.
Modern Technology for Waste Management
Utilizing advanced machinery, the project will involve the sorting, processing, and scientific disposal of the massive piles of accumulated waste. This initiative aims to eliminate the long-standing legacy waste problem and ensure substantial progress in enhancing the city's environmental and sanitation standards.
The scientific disposal of this legacy waste will significantly reduce the burden on waste disposal sites. Modern technology will be employed to separate various components of the waste, ensuring their effective disposal according to prescribed procedures.
