Patriotic Fervor Engulfs Balrampur on Independence Day

On the auspicious occasion of the 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2026, Balrampur district was seen immersed in the colors of patriotism and national pride. At the Collectorate premises, District Magistrate Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain unfurled the national flag, the Tricolor, in a dignified ceremony.

Following the flag hoisting, the District Magistrate, along with all the attending officers and employees, saluted the national flag and rendered a soulful rendition of the national song and national anthem. On this occasion, the sacrifices, struggles, and contributions of the great freedom fighters and immortal martyrs who laid down their lives for the country's independence were remembered.

Inspiration from National Heroes

District Magistrate Dr. Jain extended heartfelt wishes to everyone on Independence Day and conveyed a message to draw inspiration from the ideals and dedication of the heroes of the freedom struggle towards the nation. He called for maintaining the nation's unity, integrity, and sovereignty intact, while also urging all to fulfill their duties with utmost sincerity, honesty, and dedication, thereby contributing to the progress of the district and the nation.

Independence Day Celebrated Across Development Office and Municipality

At the Vikas Bhawan, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Himanshu Gupta hoisted the national flag. Paying homage to the immortal martyrs who secured the country's freedom, he stated that we should strive to incorporate the thoughts and ideals of freedom fighters and great personalities into our lives. Learning from the inspiring anecdotes of their lives and working in the national interest would be a true tribute to them.

Similarly, at the Municipality office, Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhirru, in the presence of councilors, officers, and employees, performed the flag hoisting. He emphasized that all citizens must always remember the brave martyrs of the country and carry out every task with a spirit of national interest.

BJP Office Also Honors the National Flag

At Atal Bhawan, located in Tulsi Park, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Ravi Kumar Mishra, along with Sadar MLA Paltu Ram and Municipality Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dhirru, hoisted the flag. On this occasion, he congratulated all the office bearers and workers on Independence Day. Throughout the district, the atmosphere resonated with the patriotic slogans of children and teachers participating in processions, reflecting the enthusiasm and joy of the national festival.
