Extensive Restoration Efforts in Balrampur

The power supply system in Balrampur district, severely damaged by recent heavy rainfall and strong winds, has been largely normalized. Thanks to the prompt action of the electricity department and coordination with the district administration, all twenty-seven (27) feeders under the Balrampur Electricity Distribution Division have been successfully restored.

The smooth operation of these feeders ensures uninterrupted power supply to consumers in the affected areas. This natural disaster, characterized by torrential downpours and storms, had caused significant damage to electricity poles, wires, and other critical infrastructure across the district, leading to widespread power outages.

Tulsipur Restoration Underway

In the Tulsipur Electricity Distribution Division, forty (40) out of a total of forty-seven (47) feeders have been restored so far. Teams from the department are working with full dedication to bring the remaining seven (7) feeders back online.

Repairs of damaged poles and power lines, along with the replacement of essential equipment, are being carried out rapidly to ensure the complete normalization of power supply as soon as possible. The district administration has clarified that their top priority is to restore electricity to 100% in all affected areas within the next twenty-four hours.

Departmental staff and officials are committed to achieving this target by remaining continuously in the field. The department assures that the remaining work will be completed with utmost diligence and speed.
