Monsoon Preparedness: Municipality Enhances Employee Safety

The Balrampur Municipality Council has distributed raincoats to its employees, prioritizing their safety and comfort during the monsoon season. This initiative aims to equip staff who work tirelessly to maintain essential city services, regardless of rain, heat, or other adverse conditions.

Distribution and Employee Support

The safety gear was handed over to employees in the presence of Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’, Chairman of the Ideal Municipality Council Balrampur, and Executive Officer Lal Chand Maurya. Chairman's representative DP Singh Bais highlighted the crucial role of municipality employees in maintaining city cleanliness, drainage, and other vital services. He emphasized that the raincoats will be instrumental in enabling them to perform their duties without hindrance during rainfall.

Focus on Employee Welfare

DP Singh Bais further stated that the municipality administration is committed to providing necessary facilities and safety equipment at workplaces. This focus ensures that employees can carry out their responsibilities with full diligence and in a secure manner. He underlined that during the rainy season, especially for tasks like clearing waterlogged areas, cleaning drains, and waste collection, the raincoats will serve as an important protective shield.

Call for Coordinated Civic Services

Addressing the assembled staff, Municipality Chairman Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh ‘Dhiru’ urged for collaborative efforts to deliver improved civic services. He specifically called for heightened attention to sanitation and the drainage system during the monsoon. The distribution event was attended by several municipality officials, including Office Superintendent Narendra Kumar, JE Water Dharmendra Gaud, and Ram Narayan Yadav. This initiative underscores the municipality administration's dedication to ensuring employees can effectively fulfill their duties even in challenging weather conditions.
