Serious Allegations Against Composite School Headmaster

In the village of Ratanpur Jhingha, under the Gasdi education block of Balrampur district, grave accusations have been leveled against the in-charge headmaster of the Composite School in Majra Karaili. The headmaster, Shilendra Pal Singh, is accused of severely beating a fifth-grade student and launching a life-threatening attack on the student's guardian. Following the incident, local administration has ordered a thorough investigation.

Local resident Ajay Kumar alleges that Headmaster Shilendra Pal Singh brutally beat his son, Pawan Kumar, a fifth-grader, with a stick for making noise in class. According to the complaint, the student had fainted due to the beating and was subsequently locked in a room.

Guardian Attacked After Student's Condition Revealed

When the student, Pawan Kumar, reached home in a distressed state, his father, Ajay Kumar, went to the school to inquire. Ajay Kumar claims that the headmaster not only verbally abused him but also attempted to attack him with a brick. It is alleged that the headmaster also tried to attack with a fire extinguisher from the kitchen, but villagers intervened and brought the situation under control.

Improper Conduct with Female Students and Threats Claimed

The submitted complaint also contains serious allegations that Headmaster Shilendra Pal Singh engages in inappropriate behavior with female students. Complainants assert that if any student or guardian protests, the headmaster threatens them with failure or adverse remarks on their Transfer Certificate (TC) or mark sheets. The withdrawal of some students' admissions and the issuance of TCs have also been mentioned.

Administrative Action and Investigation Assured

Given the gravity of the matter, Block Education Officer Ramesh Kumar stated that the case is being investigated, and strict action will be taken if the allegations are proven. The Station House Officer of Kotwali Jarwa police station, Yogesh Pratap Singh, confirmed receiving a written complaint and assured that the police are investigating thoroughly and will take appropriate legal action based on the findings. Written complaints have also been sent to the District Magistrate and Basic Education Officer.
