Grand Feast After Ganesh Idol Immersion in Balrampur

The Ganesh idol immersion festival at the Bagiya Baba Temple complex in Bhagwatiganj, Balrampur district, concluded with great enthusiasm on September 24, 2026. Subsequently, the Shri Shri 108 Shri Ganesh Puja Seva Samiti organized a magnificent and large feast, offering devotees an opportunity for devotion and service.

The religious ceremony was graced by the presence of local public representatives and esteemed citizens. Led by the committee's president, Ravindra Gupta Kamlapuri, the event was filled with devotional hymns and devotional songs. Guests were honored with offerings of traditional garments by the committee members.

Diverse Prasad and Dignitary Attendance

The feast featured a variety of delicious prasad, including poori, vegetables, dal, rice, halwa, salad, and papad. A large number of devotees from surrounding areas arrived to partake in the offerings. The presence of public representatives underscored the significance of this important religious event.

Notable attendees included Shravasti Lok Sabha MP Ram Shiromani Verma and Gaserhi MLA Rakesh Yadav, who participated in the rituals and praised the committee's efforts. Also present were Chairman of the Ideal Nagar Palika Parishad, Dr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh Dheeru, BJP leader Ajay Singh Pinku, Media In-charge DP Singh, Samar Javed, and Sushil Paswan, along with other prominent citizens.

Key Contributions and Successful Execution

The success of the feast was significantly contributed by the members of the Shri Ganesh Puja Seva Samiti, including patron Praveen Gupta, vice-president Akhilesh Gupta, treasurer Aditya Gupta, and other members such as Ajay Agarwal, Badri Jaiswal, Anand Sharma, Satya Prakash Agarwal, Atul Gaurav, Madhav Gupta, Vicky Maheshwari, Monu Sahu, and Rinku Kamlapuri.

The committee's tireless efforts and the collective support of the local community ensured the event was completed without any impediments. Women, including Gudiya Gupta, Jhuma Singh, Sadhana Pandey, Meera Singh, Kanchan Gupta, Archana Singh, Babli Singh, and Shalini Singh, also played an active role in this pious undertaking. The gathering continued until late evening, with the distribution of prasad proceeding smoothly. The temple priest, Jai Narayan Sharma, also enhanced the event with his presence.
