Utraula Health Camp Sees Significant Turnout
Under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' initiative, the Community Health Center Utraula in Balrampur district hosted a crucial health screening and awareness camp on Sunday. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rastogi inspected the camp, assessing the quality of healthcare services and gathering patient feedback.
During the Utraula camp, a total of 109 patients received health check-ups, including essential tests for blood pressure and blood sugar. Following the examinations, patients were provided with free medicines for immediate relief. The CMO also distributed Ayushman Cards to 12 eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, offering them financial security for critical illness treatment.
District-Wide Health Fairs Reach Over 1,300
On the same day, 35 Chief Minister Jan Arogya Melas were organized across Balrampur district as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. These fairs collectively provided health services to 1,324 patients.
The beneficiaries included 590 men, 511 women, and 223 children. Comprehensive arrangements for examination, treatment, and medicine distribution were made at these fairs to ensure wide accessibility to healthcare services.
Focus on Specialized Care and Awareness
The Utraula camp specifically targeted pregnant women, children, and adolescents, offering them health consultations and essential services. Healthcare workers also shared information on preventing various illnesses, aiming to boost health awareness within the community.
Efforts to Enhance Healthcare Accessibility
Present at the event were senior health department officials including Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. B.P. Singh, District Health Education Officer Arvind Mishra, Superintendent of Community Health Center Utraula Dr. Chandra Prakash, Dr. Shyam Srivastava, and the District Epidemiologist. They collectively emphasized departmental coordination to make health services more accessible and effective for citizens.
