Awareness Campaign on 'Operation Vidhi Palak Yuvak' Held at Maneer High School

Patna, July 23, 2026 – The Maneer Police Station organized a significant awareness campaign on the theme 'Operation Vidhi Palak Yuvak' at PM Shri Higher Secondary School, Maneer. The event took place in the school's spacious premises amidst students and teachers, marking the 80th anniversary of Independence Day.

The primary objective of this campaign was to make youth, especially students, aware of their rights, safety, and problem-solving mechanisms. Three police officers from the Maneer Police Station – Sub-Inspector Deepika Kumari, Constable Komal Kumari, and Sub-Inspector Tufail Khan – addressed the students. They listened attentively to the children's concerns and offered practical solutions for their redressal.

Particular emphasis was placed on the safety of female students, encouraging them to attend school and college without fear. The officers informed that in case of any difficulty, female students can immediately contact the Women's Help Desk or dial 112 to receive prompt police assistance.

Student Participation and Dialogue

The students participated enthusiastically in the awareness campaign, openly sharing their various problems with the police officers, which were then discussed seriously. This dialogue helped forge a strong bond of trust between the students and the police.

Police officers assured the female students that their safety is paramount and swift action would be taken in any instance of harassment or discomfort.

Presence of School Management and Teachers

Adding to the dignity of the event were several dignitaries, including the school principal Dr. Ramratan Prasad, teacher representative Dr. Sanjay Kumar, State Teacher Award recipient Dr. Wilfred Henry, teacher Awadhesh Chandra Yadav, and teacher Vinod Kumar. They lauded the initiative and highlighted the importance of such efforts in inspiring young people.

Prominent students who participated included Gudiya Kumari, Suchi Kumari, Priya Kumari, Avinash Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Ayush Kumar, Sakshi Kumari, and Sonam Kumari.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the principal, who praised the efforts of the police department. Campaigns like 'Operation Vidhi Palak Yuvak' will prove instrumental in developing a sense of responsibility among the youth and integrating them into the mainstream of society.
