ASUS and ROG push visual immersion to the next level at CES 2026

ASUS and Republic of Gamers (ROG) used CES 2026 to showcase a sweeping new display portfolio designed for gaming, content creation and modern workspaces. The announcement highlights ASUS’ continued dominance in OLED monitor technology and its push toward immersive, high-performance visuals across form factors.

The company said the new lineup responds to growing demand for higher refresh rates, improved text clarity and flexible use cases, from competitive gaming to mobile productivity.

Breakthrough OLED gaming monitors from ROG

ROG unveiled its latest QD-OLED and Tandem OLED gaming monitors, featuring RGB Stripe Pixel OLED technology aimed at reducing color fringing and improving text sharpness.

Key launches include:

ROG Swift OLED PG34WCDN, featuring an RGB QD-OLED panel with BlackShield™ film

ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM, equipped with a Tandem RGB OLED panel and TrueBlack Glossy™ coating

ROG also expanded its Dual Mode monitor lineup, allowing users to switch between high-resolution, lower-refresh modes and lower-resolution, ultra-high-refresh modes depending on gameplay needs.

New models include ROG Strix XG27UCG Gen 2 and TUF Gaming VG27UQEL5A.

World’s first 240Hz AR gaming glasses

One of the most eye-catching launches was the ROG XREAL R1 Gaming Glasses, described as the world’s first 240Hz micro-OLED FHD AR gaming glasses.

57° field of view with up to a 171-inch virtual screen when viewed from four meters

ROG Control Dock for expanded connectivity

Anchor mode with native 3DoF screen stability

Electrochromic lens technology for adjustable tint

ROG positioned the glasses as a new category for immersive gaming and entertainment, blending portability with large-screen experiences.

ProArt displays target creators and professionals

For creators, ASUS introduced updated ProArt Display OLED models focused on color accuracy and 4K performance.

Highlights include:

ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV, a 26.5-inch 4K UHD QD-OLED monitor with 99% DCI-P3, Delta E <2, 120Hz refresh rate and 1000-nits peak brightness

USB-C® connectivity with 96-watt Power Delivery for single-cable setups

Higher-end models PA32UCDMR-K (31.5-inch) and PA27UCDMR (26.5-inch) offer 4K QD-OLED panels, Delta E <1 accuracy and 240Hz refresh rates.

The PA32UCDMR-K also includes a monitor hood and the ProArt CaliContrO MCA02 three-in-one colorimeter, a 2026 CES Innovation Award winner.
