Legal Aid Assured for Hearing Impaired Students on Sign Language Day

Narmadapuram, September 24, 2026 - To commemorate International Sign Language Day, a significant event was organized at the Sankalp Bodhir Vishesh Sanstha for the hearing impaired in Narmadapuram. Abhay Singh, District Legal Aid Officer, District Court Narmadapuram, was the chief guest.

He met with the hearing-impaired students of the institution and assured them of necessary legal assistance related to their rights. Mr. Singh showed keen interest in interacting with the children through sign language, understanding and encouraging their desire to learn it. The students expressed their gratitude, deeply moved by the chief guest's warm presence and shared joy.

Economic Dependence and Need for Government Support

The Sankalp Bodhir Vishesh Sanstha is currently operating without regular government assistance and grants. Information from the institution's management indicates that the organization, which falls under the Social Justice Department, is entirely dependent on financial contributions from the students' families and philanthropists.

Despite this reliance, the institution continuously strives to provide education and essential facilities to its hearing-impaired students. The management believes that with regular government support and resources, the facilities for education, training, and rehabilitation of special needs children could be significantly enhanced. This support would not only strengthen the institution's operations but also contribute to a better future for the disabled students.

Also present at the event were institution director Kamlesh Kurle, Principal Anulata Bhasare, Superintendent Manjulata Oankar, Lalit Oankar, and other office bearers of the institution.
