Tribute to Late ASI Dahatonde Shankar Suryabhan

A heartfelt tribute was paid to Assistant Sub Inspector/GD Dahatonde Shankar Suryabhan at the 107th Battalion Rapid Action Force (RAF) premises on July 24, 2026. Mr. Suryabhan tragically passed away on July 22, 2026, due to a heart attack, sending waves of grief through the battalion family.

Floral Tribute and Condolences

The tribute ceremony commenced with the Commandant of the Battalion, Mr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, offering a wreath and paying homage to the departed soul. The event was attended by the Second-in-Command Officer Mr. Manish Mahale Gorakh, other senior officers, subordinate officers, and a large number of jawans.

Remembering Service and Final Honors

During the program, all present officers and jawans observed two minutes of silence, praying to God for the peace of the departed soul. Following this, Assistant Sub Inspector/GD Dahatonde Shankar Suryabhan was accorded a final salute with traditional honors.

In his address, Commandant Mr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava recalled the dedicated service of Mr. Dahatonde Shankar Suryabhan, stating, "He was a disciplined and dedicated personnel who discharged his duties with utmost sincerity and honesty. His contributions will always be remembered."

Second-in-Command Officer Mr. Manish Mahale Gorakh also remembered the late Assistant Sub Inspector's work and dedication, expressing deep condolences to the bereaved family. He added, "The contributions of such diligent and dedicated jawans always remain an inspiration to the organization."
