The Cliff News | Aron | October 7, 2026. A significant coordination meeting was held with the objective of expanding facilities and strengthening arrangements at the Aron Agricultural Produce Market.

Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue and In-charge Officer Manjusha Khatri conducted an impromptu inspection of the mandi premises and issued necessary directives to traders, farmer union representatives, weighmen union members, and mandi employees. The primary goal of the meeting was to streamline mandi operations for the upcoming period and ensure the swift resolution of existing issues.

Instructions Issued for Improving Basic Amenities

During the inspection, officials assessed the condition of lighting, drinking water, roads, and sanitation facilities within the mandi complex. Strict instructions were issued to the Mandi Secretary to immediately rectify these basic amenities. Efforts are being made to ensure that farmers and traders do not face any inconvenience at the mandi.

Emphasis on Security and Smooth Operations

To ensure the smooth movement of vehicles during upcoming crop procurement, the Mandi Secretary was instructed to implement permanent line markings. A defined dress code has been made mandatory for all employees on duty. Furthermore, clear directives were given to deploy adequate staff for the smooth functioning of the crop auction process.

For security reasons, cooperation with the police for night patrolling arrangements within the mandi complex was also considered.

Discussions on Staff Recruitment and Payment Plan

During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the trader union's proposal to provide uniform T-shirts to the weighmen. In view of the mandi's growing needs, a decision was made to correspond for the appointment of additional staff.

Detailed information regarding the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana (price difference payment scheme) was also provided in the presence of Executive Magistrate Amit Jain and Mandi Secretary Ramkrishna Lodha. The administration has clarified that the process of improvement in the mandi complex will be completed promptly on a priority basis to avoid any inconvenience to farmers and traders.

The concerned parties shared their suggestions during the meeting and emphasized the strengthening of mandi arrangements.
