Arjun Rampal Confirms Engagement to Gabriella Demetriades on Rhea Chakraborty’s Podcast

Actor Arjun Rampal has officially announced his engagement to long-term partner Gabriella Demetriades, revealing the news during a conversation on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast. The revelation comes in a teaser for the upcoming episode, shared by Rhea on Saturday.

In the clip, Gabriella hints at the couple’s status, saying, “We’re not married now, but who knows.” Arjun quickly interjects, “But we are engaged,” leaving the host visibly surprised. He added with a smile, “We just broke it on your show.”

The teaser also sees the couple discussing their relationship journey. Gabriella admits she initially didn’t approach Arjun because of his looks, hoping he had not judged her the same way. Arjun responded humorously: “No, no. I went after her because she was hot, then I realised there is a little more to it than just the hotness.”

Gabriella also reflected on parenthood, saying it reshaped her understanding of love. “Your love comes with conditions… But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?”

The couple met in 2018 and have since welcomed two sons — Arik in 2019 and a second son in July 2023. Arjun Rampal was previously married to Mehr Jesia, with whom he has two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra Rampal.

Professionally, Arjun is currently riding high on the success of his film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, in which he stars as Major Iqbal alongside Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt.
