Police Apprehend Another Suspect in Chak Churela Theft Case

In connection with the high-profile theft incident in Chak Churela village, Fatehgarh police station area of Guna district, another accused has been arrested by the police. During this operation, a stolen motorcycle and Rs 4,000 in cash were also recovered. To date, gold and silver jewelry worth 1.5 crore rupees has been recovered in this case.

Details of the Incident and Initial Investigation

On the night of August 2-3, 2026, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Babulal Meena and stole a safe and a motorcycle. Given the seriousness of the incident, Superintendent of Police Hitika Vasal had ordered the immediate arrest of the accused, and special teams were formed for this purpose.

Previous Arrests and Recoveries

Previously, the police had arrested Raju Pardi, Gajanan Pardi, and Lucky alias Chikna Pardi. Based on their information, the police had recovered valuable gold and silver jewelry worth 1.5 crore rupees. This recovery constituted a significant portion of the stolen property, providing some relief to the complainant.

Latest Arrest and Recovery

The latest arrest was made on the information of an informant. The police apprehended Rajveer, son of Hemraj Pardi, a resident of village Kanera. The accused was taken into police remand by the court.

During the remand period, the accused confessed his involvement in the theft during interrogation, and based on his identification, a Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle and Rs 4,000 in cash were recovered. The police are continuing their further actions.

Ongoing Police Action and Future Prospects

The Fatehgarh Station House Officer Abhishek Tiwari, Dharnavada Station House Officer Ruhil Sharma, and the Cyber Cell team have made significant contributions to this important success. According to the police, continuous pressure is being applied for the arrest of the remaining absconding accused involved in the case.

Efforts to recover the remaining stolen property are also ongoing. This effective action by the Guna police is helping to curb the activities of gangs operating in the region. The police team is working to corner other accused based on evidence.
