Major Honorarium Hike for Anganwadi Workers Announced
In a significant development for Anganwadi workers and assistants under the Child Development Project in Farrukhabad, a major announcement brought cheer to the community. A live broadcast of the Chief Minister's declaration regarding a 50 percent increase in the honorarium for Anganwadi workers and assistants was aired during a program held at The Royal J0J0R Palace in Fatehgarh.
The announcement was met with a wave of happiness and a resounding welcome from all the attending workers. This district-level event saw a large participation of Anganwadi workers from Kamalganj, City, Mohammadabad, and Badhpur projects. On this occasion, seven children who transitioned from the Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) category to the normal category, along with their parents, were honored with treatment, shawls, and certificates.
Recognition for Outstanding Contributions
Seven Anganwadi workers who demonstrated exceptional contributions to the health and development of children were also presented with certificates of appreciation. Additionally, symbolic checks were distributed to beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Matritva Vandana Yojana, highlighting the effective implementation of government schemes.
Honorarium Increase: Acknowledging Labor
During the program, MLA Sushil Kumar Shakya emphasized the crucial role Anganwadi workers play in child nutrition and early development, stating that the honorarium increase is a recognition of their hard work. MP Mukesh Rajput expressed gratitude to the government for this increase and urged everyone to work with dedication to ensure the health of future generations.
District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar described the honorarium hike as a tribute to the workers' diligence. He stressed the importance of adhering to guidelines such as regular child monitoring, health assessments, the significance of vaccination, and raising awareness among parents about nutrition.
Enthusiastic Celebrations Across Other Tehsils
The announcement was met with enthusiastic reception in other tehsils of the district as well, with special programs organized. In Amritpur tehsil, Administrator Pallav Somvanshi was present at the program held in the Development Block Auditorium, Rajehpur. Meanwhile, the program for Kaimganj tehsil concluded at the Block Education Officer's office, with Anganwadi workers and supervisors from Kaimganj, Shamsabad, and Nawabganj participating.
Block Administrator Anuradha Dubey and local public representatives attended as chief guests in Kaimganj. At all venues, Anganwadi workers wholeheartedly welcomed this significant announcement from the state government, viewing it as a mark of appreciation for their dedicated service.
