Preparations Underway for Anant Chaturdashi Immersion

Guna Administration is fully prepared for the immersion of Lord Ganesha idols on the auspicious occasion of Anant Chaturdashi. Chief Municipal Officer Shailesh Awasthi conducted a thorough inspection of the immersion arrangements and security measures at Singwasa pond. He specifically reviewed the facilities at the immersion pit, where devotees will respectfully consign their offerings and idols.

The municipality has completed extensive preparations for the traditionally celebrated Anant Chaturdashi festival in the Cantonment area. Chief Municipal Officer Shailesh Awasthi emphasized that devotee safety is paramount and urged citizens to fully cooperate with the arrangements made by the administration. He specifically advised against allowing children near water bodies unsupervised to prevent any untoward incidents.

Safety and Arrangements Reviewed at Immersion Site

During the inspection, Assistant Engineer Sunil Kumar Jain, Sub-Engineer Ramveer Sharma, Site In-charge Vivek Srivastava, and other departmental staff were present. The team meticulously reviewed the safety cordon, the availability of divers, and sanitation arrangements at the immersion site.

The primary objective of the local administration is to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience during the idol immersion, and the entire festival concludes peacefully and in an organized manner. The joint effort by the district administration and the municipality aims to ensure this year's Anant Chaturdashi festival is celebrated with full faith and devotion.

All relevant departments have been instructed to remain vigilant and prepared to handle any situation. Devotees are also expected to cooperate with the administration in ensuring the safe and orderly conclusion of the festival.
