Homage to Martyrs at Amar Jyoti Institute

The Amar Jyoti Service Institute, situated on the western bank of the North Ganga at Panchalghat in Farrukhabad, organized a dignified ceremony on the occasion of Independence Day. During the event, the national flag was hoisted, and a respectful tribute was paid to the nation's immortal martyrs and freedom fighters.

The main highlight of the program was a thought-provoking seminar held after the flag hoisting. During this session, the sacrifices and contributions of the brave sons who laid down their lives for the nation's freedom were remembered. The ceremony was presided over by the institute's chairman, Swami Mukeshananad Ji Maharaj.

Several dignitaries, including General Secretary Pramod Kumar Tiwari Advocate and other officials of the institute, were present on this occasion. In the seminar, retired principal Ramswroop Mishra elaborated on the historic moments of the freedom struggle. He emphasized that the nation's independence was not an easy achievement but the result of the relentless sacrifice, struggle, and ultimate sacrifice of countless freedom fighters from the First War of Independence in 1857 until the country gained freedom.

Remembering the Contributions of Freedom Fighters

During the seminar, speakers specifically recalled the invaluable contributions of great revolutionaries like Mangal Pandey, Chandrashekhar Azad, Pandit Ramprasad Bismil, Rajguru, and Bhagat Singh. They stated that today's youth should draw inspiration from the unique sacrifices and patriotic spirit of these brave warriors.

This inspiration, they added, will not only awaken a sense of duty towards the country but also motivate active participation in nation-building. The speakers, explaining the broader meaning of freedom, stated that it is not merely a symbol of liberation from British rule but also an embodiment of the resolve to uphold the nation's unity, integrity, social harmony, and responsibilities towards national interest.

They appealed to the youth to adopt the ideals of the nation's great men in their lives and contribute actively to the nation's progress. The institute reiterated its commitment to national interest on this occasion, stating that it will continue to strive in the fields of social service, national interest, and public awareness.

Commitment to National Interest

The Amar Jyoti Service Institute officials renewed their pledge to serve the nation. They announced that the institute will continue to organize various programs with the aim of bringing positive change in society and making citizens responsible towards the nation.

The program concluded with a resolution to maintain the unity and integrity of the nation. All attendees collectively pledged to protect the country's sovereignty and integrity, further strengthening the significance of Independence Day.
