Grand Flag Hoisting Ceremony Marks Independence Day

On the historic occasion of the 80th Independence Day, the All India Industry Trade Association organized a dignified flag hoisting ceremony at Shanti Utsav Garden, located on Mahera Phatak Road in Etawah. Merchants present reiterated their resolve to maintain the nation's unity and integrity, and paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs of the freedom struggle.

Distinguished Guests Lead the Ceremony

The national flag was jointly hoisted by the Chief Guest, Mr. Surendra Mohan Singh, Joint Commissioner Grade-II, and the Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Jitendra Singh, GST SI V Commissioner, alongside the District President Alok Kumar Gupta. Following the flag hoisting, all attendees sang the national anthem and saluted the tricolor.

Tributes to Freedom Fighters and Patriots

During the 'Homage to Martyrs and Resolve Towards the Nation' program, speakers including former MP Premdas Katharia, District In-charge Manoj Agrawal, Youth District President Narendra Singh Kushwaha, Youth State Minister Pankaj Kushwaha, District General Secretary Dharmendra Jain, District Treasurer Ranjit Singh Kushwaha, District Senior Vice Presidents Ravindra Singh Kushwaha and Praveen Dwivedi, District Spokesperson Ikrar Ahmed, Women District President Archana Kushwaha, Women District General Secretary Varsha Dubey, Women District Patron Meera Tiwari, and Women District Senior Vice President Richa Kushwaha, remembered the sacrifices of freedom fighters and brave martyrs.

The speakers emphasized that countless brave soldiers sacrificed their lives for the country's freedom, and their sacrifices can never be forgotten. They stressed the paramount importance of national unity and integrity and the fulfillment of one's duties towards the nation.
