Akhanda 2: Thaandavam Song Launch — Harshaali Malhotra Steals the Spotlight

The launch of The Thaandavam song from Akhanda 2: Thaandavam turned into a star-studded celebration in Mumbai, attended by Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK), Aadhi Pinisetty, Harshaali Malhotra, Sangay Tsheltrim, singer Kailash Kher, director Boyapati Srinu, music director S Thaman, producer Gopi Achanta, and others.

Harshaali’s Heart-winning Comeback

Harshaali Malhotra — best known as Munni from Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) — made her big-screen comeback after 10 years.
Her sweet exchange with a fan who shouted “We love you” lit up the event. Harshaali said:

“I was so happy that after 10 years, I’ll be back in cinemas, that too with the legend of South and India, NBK sir."

NBK’s Warm Words & Cute Moments on Stage

NBK, who came last on stage as expected, spoke passionately about his team and even touched on his philanthropic work, including the cancer hospital he established after his mother’s passing.

Regarding Harshaali, he said:

“She’s very lucky to do this film after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. She has a crucial part… I can’t reveal much.”

NBK then invited child actress Veda Agarwal, who acted with him in Daaku Maharaaj (2025), and shared a fun age comparison between Veda (9) and Harshaali, who revealed she was only 6 when she shot Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The candid exchange drew laughs from the audience.
