The Ajner Police Station in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh has successfully apprehended a youth in possession of an illegal firearm. Acting on a tip from an informant about a suspicious individual planning a criminal act, the police swiftly laid a trap.

The police team took immediate action and cordoned off an area near the bridge at Khama-Rawatpura Tighala. During the police cordon, a suspicious youth was apprehended and identified as Gulshan Yadav, a 22-year-old resident of Narwara village. A search revealed one country-made pistol of .315 bore and one live cartridge in his possession.
Legal Proceedings Initiated
The recovered illegal weapons were immediately seized by the police. A case has been registered against Gulshan Yadav at the Ajner Police Station under Section 3/25 of the Arms Act. Following legal procedures, the accused is being prepared for presentation in court.
