The total number of flights for this period has dropped to 2,73,549, a notable decrease from last year's 2,98,939, marking an 8.5% decline. IndiGo Airlines has implemented the largest reduction in flights during the month of September. This decrease is largely attributed to factors such as a more than 20% increase in domestic airfares and an approximate 4.8% drop in passenger traffic, placing further strain on the financial health of aviation companies.
