Agrawal Community Women Celebrate Hariyali Teej Amidst Joyful 80th Independence Day Festivities
The Agrawal community women celebrated Hariyali Teej with vibrant cultural programs and marked the 80th anniversary of India's independence.

Grand Celebration of Hariyali Teej and Independence Day
The women's wing of the All India Agrawal Mahasabha, Narmadapuram, and the Agrawal Community Women's Circle organized a magnificent Hariyali Teej festival at the local Naman Narmada Garden. The event was a dual celebration, with women enthusiastically participating in cultural programs and also commemorating the 80th anniversary of Independence Day.
According to State President Bharti Agarwal, this festival has been celebrated with traditional fervor by the women of the Agrawal community for the past 20 years. This year's festival featured numerous engaging competitions for women, including the 'Hariyali Queen' competition (junior and senior categories), a culinary contest, a Hariyali Teej game, and a swing game.
'Hariyali Queen' and Culinary Contest Winners
The highlight of the event was the 'Hariyali Queen' competition. Urja Agarwal was declared the winner in the junior category, while Shobhana Garg secured the title in the senior category. In the Independence Day-themed culinary contest, Santosh Agarwal, Urja Agarwal, Ayushi Agarwal, and Rekha Agarwal presented their delicious dishes.
Other Competition Results
In other competitions, Asha S. Agarwal secured first place in the Hariyali Teej game, with Ayushi Agarwal coming in second and Santosh Agarwal in third. For the Sawan swing game, Neetu Mittal took first place, Manju Agarwal second, and Tripti Agarwal third. All winners were felicitated by the Women's Circle.
Independence Day Celebration
On the occasion of Independence Day, the women and children present sang 'Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara' to celebrate the 80th anniversary of India's freedom. A large number of women and children attended the event, including Bharti Agarwal, Anita Gupta, Asha Mukesh Agarwal, Asha Suresh Agarwal, Rita Agarwal, Kusum Agarwal, Manju Agarwal, Anju Agarwal, Shobhana Garg, Shalini Agarwal, Usha Agarwal, Deepti Agarwal, Santosh Agarwal, Savita Agarwal, Urmila Agarwal, Shikha Agarwal, Vinita Agarwal, Megha Agarwal, Bhavna Agarwal, Anuradha Agarwal, Sonam Agarwal, Mona Agarwal, Bhavya Agarwal, and Annapurna Agarwal.
At the conclusion of the program, Shikha Agarwal and Sonam Agarwal expressed their gratitude to everyone. This event fostered an atmosphere of unity and joy among the women of the Agrawal community while showcasing their enthusiasm for the national festival.
