Festive Season Vigilance: Administration Enforces Strict Measures in Binaganj
In the lead-up to the upcoming festive season, the administration in the Binaganj town of Guna district has intensified its efforts to ensure public peace and safety. Acting on explicit directives from Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal and under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Hitesha Vasal, local authorities conducted a surprise inspection drive in the lower market area.
During this operation, four carbide guns were recovered from the establishment of a shopkeeper identified as Lal Vishwakarma. Following the seizure, the shop was promptly sealed. This decisive action underscores the administration's firm stance against restricted weapons.
Legal Action Against Prohibited Arms
The statutory action was initiated for violating the prohibitory orders issued by the District Collector under Section 163 of the Indian Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. These orders impose a complete ban on the manufacturing, storage, purchase, sale, and use of any hazardous devices, including carbide guns, within the district.
The administration believes that the loud bangs and explosions emanating from these guns have a strong likelihood of adversely affecting public health and order. Officials have clarified that anyone found violating safety regulations will not be spared and will face stringent legal action.
Appeal to Traders for Compliance
Prominent among those present during the raid were SDM Chanchoda Amit Soni, Executive Magistrate, and the Binaganj Outpost In-charge. Officials reiterated that any information regarding the distribution or display of prohibited materials will result in strict legal action as per regulations in the future.
The local administration has appealed to all traders in the area to strictly adhere to safety standards, ensuring that peace and order are maintained throughout the festive season. The police force has increased surveillance in the area to prevent any trade of unsafe equipment.
