Actress Nidhhi Agerwal Mobbed at Hyderabad Song Launch of Prabhas’ The Raja Saab

Hyderabad witnessed a chaotic scene on Wednesday evening as actress Nidhhi Agerwal was reportedly manhandled by fans during the launch of the new song Sahana Sahana from Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab.

The event, held at Lulu Mall, saw a massive turnout of fans and was attended by Nidhhi Agerwal and director Maruthi. While the song launch itself went smoothly, the situation turned alarming as Nidhhi tried to leave the venue and get into her car. Videos circulating on social media show fans jostling around the actress, with some reportedly touching her inappropriately despite the presence of her security team. After a struggle, Nidhhi eventually managed to get into her car, visibly shaken by the incident.

The incident sparked widespread outrage online. Singer and social activist Chinmayi Sripaada condemned the behavior, tweeting, “Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas… Put ‘likeminded’ men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this.” Other social media users highlighted the need for better event security and criticized organizers and mall authorities for the lapse in safety measures. Some also expressed frustration over the recurring incidents of female celebrities being harassed in public spaces.

The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, is slated for a pan-India release in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Authorities and organizers are expected to review security protocols for future events in light of Wednesday’s incident.
