A team from the department, led by Additional Regional Transport Officer Vikram Singh Rathore, inspected passenger buses at various locations. A total of 25 buses were examined during this campaign. Of these, 11 buses were fined a total of ₹11,000 for issues including overloading and other irregularities.

Emphasis on Passenger Safety and Compliance

The Transport Department has issued instructions to bus operators and drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules, maintain all necessary documents in their vehicles, and prioritize passenger safety.
