Administration Tightens Grip on Illegal Mining

Following strict directives from Collector Kishor Kumar Kanyal, the administration in Guna district is intensifying its crackdown against the illegal excavation, transportation, storage, and sale of minerals. In a significant move, the Mineral Department team took decisive action in the Ruthiyai area, seizing two dumper vehicles belonging to a private company.

Led by District Mineral Officer Sachin Verma, a department team conducted a surprise inspection in the Ruthiyai area. They discovered a private company illegally excavating minerals near village Ajrauda, reportedly for railway construction work, without obtaining any necessary permits. This serious violation prompted immediate action, with the department seizing two dumper vehicles from the site.

Seized Vehicles Handed Over to Police

The two dumper vehicles involved in the illegal mining operation have been secured at the Ruthiyai Police Outpost to facilitate further legal proceedings. Key roles in this entire operation were played by In-charge Mineral Inspector Vijay Kumar Chakravarti and other field staff of the department.

Zero Tolerance for Illegal Activities

The administration has made it clear that a policy of 'zero tolerance' is being adopted towards illegal mineral activities within the district. As per the Collector's orders, Mineral Department teams are regularly patrolling the area to ensure strict action is taken against those violating government regulations.

Department officials have pledged to maintain a vigilant watch on illegal activities and continue imposing stringent legal actions against offenders in the future. A departmental inquiry has been initiated against the private company in the current case, and punitive proceedings have commenced as per the law.

Local authorities have issued a stern warning to mineral mafias and entities operating without permission to ensure compliance with regulations. The department remains committed to taking swift action upon receiving any information related to illegal mining activities.
