ABVP Vidisha Removes Worker from Duties

The Vidisha district unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has, with immediate effect, relieved one of its workers, Satyajay Manjhi, from all organizational responsibilities. This decision aims to uphold the dignity, discipline, and ethical values of the organization.

Reason for Removal

According to a press release issued by the organization, this action was taken after the unit became aware of a criminal case registered against a family member of Satyajay Manjhi, a worker from the Kurwai unit. Manjhi, however, has clarified that he is not involved in the matter and his name is not mentioned in the crime.

Prioritizing Ethics and Discipline

Viewing the situation from the perspective of ethics and organizational discipline, rather than personal allegations, ABVP Vidisha made this significant decision. Govind Raghuvanshi, the Vidisha District Convener, stated that the organization prioritizes its dignity, discipline, and ethical values above all else.

“ABVP never compromises on its principles and discipline in the interest of society and the nation.”

The organization emphasized its clear commitment to the conduct, high ethical standards, and personal as well as social character of its workers. Discipline and ethical integrity are paramount for the organization, and in line with this spirit, the decision to relieve Satyajay Manjhi from all organizational responsibilities was taken.

Commitment to Organizational Policies

District Convener Govind Raghuvanshi described this action as indicative of the organization's firm commitment to its policies and discipline. He reiterated that when making decisions concerning any worker, the organization's reputation, discipline, and ethical values would be given priority. This move signals the establishment of stringent standards regarding worker conduct within ABVP.
