Traffic Relief Measures Undertaken in Aaron

The local administration in Aaron city launched a special anti-encroachment drive on October 4, 2026, with the objective of improving traffic flow and alleviating congestion. Acting on the directives of senior officials and Sub-Divisional Officer Manjusha Khatri, the Municipal Council team removed encroachments from various locations.

Illegal Structures Demolished, Vendors Reassigned

The campaign commenced in Ward Number Fourteen, where the municipal staff immediately demolished illegal constructions on government land. Subsequently, the team proceeded to the city's prominent religious site, the Das Hanuman Temple. The road flanking the temple had become significantly narrow due to the pushcarts of fruit and vegetable vendors, causing inconvenience to citizens and obstructing emergency vehicle movement.

Humanitarian Approach in Vendor Relocation

During this operation, the Municipal Council adopted a humane approach, refraining from confiscating any vendor's goods. Instead, a new designated area has been established behind the temple where all vendors can operate their businesses in an organized manner. Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Dinesh Kumar Soni stated that this action was taken in response to citizen complaints and the instructions of senior officials.

Continued Enforcement for Smoother Traffic

CMO Soni clarified that similar actions will continue in the future to maintain smooth traffic management. Present at the scene during the encroachment removal drive were Naib Tehsildar Amit Kumar Jain, Station House Officer Ravindra Sikarwar, CMO Dinesh Kumar Soni, the Municipal Council's anti-encroachment squad, and police personnel. The administration anticipates that this change in arrangement will provide local residents with improved accessibility and relief from traffic congestion.
