Grand Celebration at Swami Vivekananda College of Nursing

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with grand fanfare at Swami Vivekananda College of Nursing in Farrukhabad on August 15, 2026. The institute’s campus was adorned with tricolor flags and patriotic colors, filling the entire atmosphere with a spirit of nationalism.

Inauguration and National Anthem

The event commenced with the garlanding and floral tributes to the idols of Goddess Saraswati, Mother India, and great personalities of the nation, followed by the lighting of lamps. Subsequently, Institute Manager Anurag Dubey hoisted the national flag, after which all attendees joined in singing the national anthem.

Students Showcase Talent with Patriotic Performances

On this special occasion, the college's students showcased their talents exceptionally. They presented patriotic songs, dances, and dramatic performances that captivated the audience. Through these presentations, the younger generation expressed their love and respect for the nation. Additionally, students enthusiastically participated in speech and rangoli competitions.

Institute Director Dr. Sachin Dubey highlighted the significance of Independence Day, stating that it reminds us of the sacrifices and martyrdom of the immortal heroes who gave their all for the country’s freedom. He emphasized that the freedom we enjoy today is a result of the indomitable courage and patriotism of these brave sons. He described the tricolor as a symbol of our freedom, pride, and national unity, inspiring us always to protect the country's integrity and sovereignty.

Institute Manager Anurag Dubey paid homage and offered tribute to the brave martyrs of the nation and extended warm wishes for Independence Day to all guests, staff, and students. He expressed gratitude to everyone for the successful event, stating that such occasions further strengthen the spirit of patriotism among the youth.
