The 69th District Secondary School Athletics Competition-2026 officially began today at the Police Line Ground in Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad. District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar inaugurated this grand sporting event by hoisting the flag and releasing colorful balloons into the sky.
Student Participation and Pledge
Students from various secondary schools across the district enthusiastically participated in a march-past, showcasing their commitment to athletic prowess. District Magistrate Dr. Ankur Lathar addressed the participating athletes, emphasizing the importance of sports.

He stated that sports are not just a medium for physical exercise but a powerful tool for developing mental growth, self-confidence, and leadership skills. He urged all participants to prioritize sportsmanship, remain disciplined, and perform to the best of their abilities.

Approximately 270 students from Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad, and Kaimganj, as well as the entire district, confirmed their participation in this athletics competition. The District Magistrate personally interacted with the athletes to boost their morale. He issued strict instructions to the concerned officials and teachers to ensure all essential arrangements for the players, such as drinking water, medical facilities, and security, were maintained smoothly on the sports field.

Students who perform exceptionally well in the competition will have the opportunity to represent the district in divisional and state-level competitions in the future.
