Preparations have begun for the grand 66th Ramlila Festival in Ikdil, Etawah, organized by the Shri Pratap Ramlila Samiti. A crucial meeting finalized the plans for this year's event, which will commence on October 10 with the procession of Lord Shiva.
The annual festival is set to conclude on October 22 with the Bharat Milap and the coronation of Lord Rama. During the meeting, Advocate Sunil Tandon was unanimously elected as the new president of the Shri Pratap Ramlila Samiti. Members present expressed their happiness and hope for him to lead the committee to new heights.
New Leadership and Event Details
Committee manager Umesh Rajput alias Dulle engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the upcoming events, staging arrangements, and other management aspects. General Secretary Rajat Verma also shared his thoughts to ensure the success of the event. According to the committee's plan, the Ramlila will begin on October 10 with Lord Shiva's procession.
Key episodes such as the worship of Lord Ganesha, Hanuman Janm (Hanuman's birth), and Lanka Dahan (Burning of Lanka) will be staged. The festival will culminate on October 22 with Bharat Milap and Lord Rama's coronation. The committee has resolved to make this year's event grander and more well-organized than previous years.
