Sacred Urn Arrives in Balrampur for Guru रविदास Anniversary

On the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj, an urn filled with sacred soil from his birthplace in Seer Goverdhanpur, Varanasi, was grandly welcomed in Kishunpur Sagar village, located within the Sadhunagar Mandal of the Utraula assembly constituency in Balrampur.

The local MLA, Ram Pratap Verma, respectfully welcomed the Kalash Yatra. Addressing the gathering, he recalled the great thoughts and message of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas.

Call for Embracing Guru Ravidas's Principles

MLA Ram Pratap Verma urged attendees, particularly those from the Scheduled community, to pledge to adopt Guru Ravidas's principles of social harmony, equality, brotherhood, and humanitarian values in their lives. The aim of this journey is to strengthen the spirit of unity and equality in society, as inspired by Guru Ravidas's teachings.

Prominent Figures Attend Welcoming Ceremony

Several senior leaders and dignitaries graced the Kalash Yatra's welcome ceremony. Notable among them were senior leaders Siaram Saroj and Raja Ram Gautam (both from the Scheduled community), District Convener Ankur Gupta, Mandal President Vishnu Gupta, BJP leader Sumit Singh, Mandal General Secretary Radheshyam Gupta, BJP leaders Bhagwan Poojan Patel, and Vikas Gupta. Senior BJP leader Vijay Gupta, along with Shyam Ji Verma, Ram Garib, Ram Karan, Suraj, Santosh, and Surendra Kumar Ji were also present. Additionally, many senior members from the Scheduled community and respected citizens from the region attended in large numbers, underscoring the grandeur of the event and public support for it.
