Preparations Underway for 66th Ramlila Festival in Ekdil

Preparations are in full swing for the 66th annual Ramlila festival organized by the Shri Pratap Ramlila Committee in Ekdil, Etawah. This grand event will commence on October 10 with the procession of Lord Shiva and conclude on October 22 with Bharat Milap and coronation.

New Leadership for Shri Pratap Ramlila Committee

During a significant committee meeting, Advocate Sunil Tandon was unanimously appointed as the new president of the Shri Pratap Ramlila Committee. Members expressed joy and high expectations for the smooth and improved functioning of the committee under his leadership.

Festival Outline and Cultural Significance

The outline of the festival was finalized in a meeting attended by prominent citizens and committee members. Umesh Rajput alias Dulle, the committee manager, detailed the upcoming events, while General Secretary Rajat Verma shared insights into the religious importance of the celebration. The festival, a symbol of local traditions and religious faith, will feature enactments of Lord Rama's life, connecting audiences with the ideals of Maryada Purushottam.
