43 Excise Officials Swear Oath of National Service at JNPA Sagar

Graduation Ceremony Held for Excise Officers at JNPA Sagar

The graduation ceremony for the second batch of 43 trainees, comprising district excise officers and deputy inspectors, was grandly concluded at the Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy (JNPA) in Sagar, Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. After successfully completing two months of foundational training, these officers pledged to work with full dedication and commitment to national service, effective law enforcement, and public welfare.

Comprehensive Training Provided to Officers

The special training program was conducted from May 18 to July 23, 2026. During this period, trainees received intensive training on crucial subjects such as the Excise Act, related legal provisions, investigation techniques, leadership development, discipline, physical fitness, field craft, practical policing, and professional skills. The objective was to ensure they could discharge their responsibilities effectively and responsibly.

Parade and Awards Mark the Occasion

The highlight of the graduation ceremony was the presence of Superintendent of Police, Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy, Mrs. Pratima Patel, who graced the event as the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with an impressive march-past, where trainees showcased their discipline, confidence, and the proficiency acquired during their training. The chief guest took the salute of the parade and administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly commissioned officers.

Trainee officers who excelled in academic performance, physical fitness, firing, parade, and various other competitions during the training period were honored with certificates and awards. This recognition underscored their dedication and hard work.

Senior Officials and Families Attend Ceremony

Several senior officials from the Excise Department and administration were present on this significant occasion, including Mrs. Neerja Srivastava (Deputy Commissioner, Excise Flying Squad, Sagar), Mr. Ramesh Chandra Arya (Central Jail Superintendent, Sagar), Mrs. Kirti Dubey (Assistant Excise Commissioner, Sagar), and Mr. Durgesh Rathore (Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta). Many other academy officials, staff, and the families of the trainees also attended the ceremony in large numbers, making the event even more special.

At the end of the program, gratitude was extended to all the guests, officials, and attending family members. Following the graduation parade, the academy premises were filled with an atmosphere of patriotism, discipline, and a commitment to embracing new responsibilities.
