41st Battalion Victorious in RAF Inter-Battalion Cricket Championship

The 41st Battalion has won the Inter-Battalion Cricket Competition, concluding at the 107th Battalion Rapid Action Force (RAF) complex in Raissen on July 24, 2026. The 41st Battalion secured the championship title by defeating the host 107th Battalion RAF in the final match.

This competition was organized with the aim of fostering sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among the jawans. Both teams displayed excellent skill and enthusiasm throughout the match. In a closely contested game, the 41st Battalion achieved victory through superior strategy and disciplined play. The event proved significant in enhancing the physical and mental coordination of the jawans.

Commandant Honours Players

The closing ceremony of the competition was graced by the presence of Mr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Commandant of 107 RAF, as the Chief Guest. He felicitated the players of the winning and runner-up teams with trophies and prizes.

“Sports are not just a display of physical prowess, but an effective medium for strengthening discipline, leadership, and team spirit,” stated Mr. Srivastava, appreciating the outstanding performance of the players.

The Commandant further added that such events infuse positive energy among the jawans of the force and enhance their collective working capacity in challenging situations. He congratulated all participants for their involvement in the competition, emphasizing that these events strengthen mutual cooperation and camaraderie among the jawans.

Ayush Singh Awarded 'Man of the Series'

Assistant Commandant Mr. Ayush Singh of 107 RAF was declared the 'Man of the Series' for his outstanding contributions. This title was awarded for his exceptional game skills, consistent performance, and effective leadership throughout the tournament.

Mr. Singh made significant contributions to the team and the competition, making him deserving of this honour. The closing ceremony was attended by several senior officers, subordinate officers, and a large number of jawans, including Second-in-Command Mr. Manish Mahale Gorakh. Officials encouraged the players and praised their disciplined sportsmanship.

The ceremony concluded with best wishes for the bright future of all players and a pledge to continuously uphold the spirit of sportsmanship.
