District Celebrates Teacher's Day with Honors

The district of Balrampur held a dignified ceremony at the Collectorate today to mark Teacher's Day. The occasion commemorated the birth anniversary of India's second President, renowned educationist, and Bharat Ratna recipient, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

District Magistrate Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain and Superintendent of Police Shri Martand Prakash Singh paid homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by garlanding his portrait, remembering his invaluable contributions to the field of education. A highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of teachers and school personnel for their exemplary work.

Teachers and Staff Recognized for Excellence

District Magistrate Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain honored a total of 29 teachers and staff from various development blocks of the district with certificates of appreciation and mementos for their commendable performance in teaching and school activities.

Teachers Play a Crucial Role in Fulfilling Responsibilities

Congratulating all the honored teachers, District Magistrate Dr. Vipin Kumar Jain stated that teachers play the most significant role in shaping society and the nation. He emphasized that teachers' responsibilities extend beyond completing the curriculum or imparting bookish knowledge; they are instrumental in building students' character.

He stressed that teachers should focus on developing curiosity, self-confidence, discipline, creativity, and the ability to achieve success in life among children. Dr. Jain highlighted that every child possesses unique talents and capabilities. Teachers play a vital role in identifying these talents, providing appropriate guidance, and encouraging students to realize their full potential.

He added that schools should foster a positive and inspiring environment where students can ask questions without hesitation, learn new things, and hone their talents.

Emphasis on Holistic Development of Children

The District Magistrate urged teachers to pay individual attention to each child's academic progress, ensuring that no student is left behind in the learning process. He advocated for adopting innovative and engaging teaching methodologies, effectively utilizing available resources, and making teaching and learning more enjoyable and impactful.

He noted that honoring teachers for their outstanding performance serves as a source of inspiration for other educators. All teachers should strive to develop their schools as centers for future nation-building.

The District Magistrate remarked that a teacher's true success lies in the success of their students and their contribution to society as responsible citizens.

In this Teacher's Felicitation Ceremony, several teachers from various development blocks were awarded. From Development Block Balrampur, Smt. Priyanka Tiwari and Smt. Nirmala Kumari were honored. From Utraula, Smt. Ranjana Gupta and Smt. Shasina Verma were recognized. From Haraiya Satgharwa, Shri Avadh Bihari and Smt. Asha Gautam received awards. From Pachpedwa, Shri Manoj Kumar Mishra and Shri Rajneesh were honored. From Gasdi, Shri Raghvendra Singh and Shri Hariram Gupta were recognized. From Tulsipur, Shri Shubham Srivastava and Shri Amit Gupta received awards. From Shridattganj, Shri Shiv Prasad and Mohd. Asrar Siddiqui were honored. From Rehra Bazar, Shri Rameshwar Kumar Verma and Shri Jitendra Kumar Prajapati were recognized. From Nagar Balrampur, Shri Manish Verma and Smt. Pratima Karoli were honored. And from Gaidawas Buzurg, Shri Kutubullah Khan and Shri Shiv Kumar were awarded for their excellent contributions in academic and school activities.

Additionally, several teachers were awarded as Special Educators. Shri Satyendra Singh from Pachpedwa, Smt. Pratima Singh from Tulsipur, Shri Shailesh Kumar Pandey from Utraula, Shri Dev Babu Pandey from Nagar Balrampur, Shri Suresh Chandra Chaudhary from Gaidawas Buzurg, and Shri Meraj Ahmed from Gasdi were honored for their special educational work.

In the category of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Smt. Mamta Yadav from Gaidawas Buzurg, Smt. Sangeeta Mishra from Tulsipur, and Km. Sneh lata from Balrampur Dehat were honored for their commendable work.
