Gratitude Expressed Through Spiritual Ceremony and Feast
In a special ceremony held at the Shri Hanuman Tekri Temple, 28 employees of the Guna Municipal Council, who were recently promoted, expressed their gratitude to 'Tekri Sarkar' (Lord Hanuman of Tekri). The event featured a rendition of Sundarkand followed by a grand community feast, which was attended by several distinguished guests.
All former Municipal Presidents, the current Council President Savitra Arvind Gupta, all councilors, and Municipal officials and employees were invited to this auspicious occasion. Prominent individuals including members of the Shri Tekri Temple Trust, the Officer-Employee Joint Front, Alderman Councilor Sunil Soni, and retired ARI officials Jamunalal Rajak and Ishak Khan, extended their best wishes to the promoted employees and wished them a bright future.
Council's Proactive Approach to Promotions Highlighted
Municipal President Savitra Arvind Gupta emphasized that the promotion process for the employees had been prepared with a resolution passed by the PIC (Administrative and Financial Committee) a year prior. Upon receiving orders from the government, the promotion proceedings were immediately ensured. She asserted that the Guna Municipal Council is an institution where the highest number of employees have been promoted.
Gupta further shared that this inspiration stemmed from direct recruitments during her husband Arvind Gupta's tenure as a councilor, and these promotions occurred after a long interval since his term. She described it as an unforgettable moment for the council.
Presence of Dignitaries and Well Wishes
In addition to Municipal President Savitra Arvind Gupta, the distinguished attendees at this dignified event included Chief Municipal Officer Shailesh Awasthi, former Councilor Arvind Gupta, former Municipal Presidents Harishankar Vijayvargiya, Suryaprakash Tiwari, Devendra Gupta, and Rajendra Singh Saluja. Also present were members of the Tekri Temple Trust including Gulshan Juneja, Chironji Lal Prajapati, Alok Nayak, Chachoura CMO Sanjay Srivastava, Raghogarh CMO Tejsingh Yadav, and current councilors along with newly appointed aldermen.
The esteemed guests congratulated all the promoted employees on their bright future and urged them to perform their duties with utmost dedication.
