These melas saw a substantial turnout, with 748 men, 699 women, and 242 children benefiting from the services provided. The primary objective of these Public Health Melas is to provide high-quality medical treatment to residents living in rural and remote areas, right at their nearest health center.

Dedicated Medical Teams and Community Involvement

Dedicated teams of doctors and healthcare workers examined patients, offered necessary consultations, and distributed medicines. The expansion and inspection of medical services were evident at a mela held at the Primary Health Center, Mathura Bazar, which was attended by the MLA representative of Tulsipur and Dr. Kapildev. Local officials, including the Gram Pradhan and villagers, were also present.

Focus on Accessibility and Sensitivity

Discussions were held regarding health services and emphasis was placed on improving their reach. The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rastogi, conducted surprise inspections of melas organized at the Primary Health Center, Balrampur, and the Police Line. He meticulously reviewed the healthcare arrangements and instructed the departmental staff to prioritize public health and remain sensitive to patients' needs.

Improved Health Service Accessibility

The successful organization of these melas has ensured that local citizens are receiving timely and necessary treatment, making health services more accessible than before. The department reiterated its commitment to prioritizing public health through continuous public welfare initiatives. Officials present expressed satisfaction with the functioning and arrangements at the health centers.

Growing Awareness in Rural Areas

The success of these health melas indicates a rising level of awareness regarding medical facilities even in rural areas. The department aims to maintain similar excellent arrangements and public participation in future melas.
