Mahoba Health Fair Offers Free Services to 161 Patients
A Chief Minister's Health Fair organized at three health centers in the Mahoba district saw a total of 161 patients receive health check-ups. They were also provided with free medicines and important health advice on-site. The event was conducted under the direction of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vinay Kumar and the supervision of the Superintendent of Community Health Center Jaitpur, Dr. P.K. Singh.
Health Camps Held at Three Centers
The health camps were organized on Sunday at the Arogya Dham centers located in Ajnar, Khama, and Akouna within the district. During the fair, doctors observed a higher number of patients suffering from seasonal illnesses, particularly those with common cold, cough, and fever, attributed to the changing weather. The number of patients with other ailments was comparatively lower.
Medical Teams Conducted Examinations at Various Centers
At the Ajnar Arogya Medical Center, a team comprising Dr. Ramkumar, ANM Neetu, and Staff Nurses Bhagwati and Arun examined 54 patients. At the Khama Health Sub-Center, a joint team of doctors, including Dr. Prem Narayan Sharma, Dr. J.P. Pastore, and Dr. Shailendra Singh, provided treatment to 51 patients. Similarly, at the camp held at the Akouna Health Sub-Center, 56 patients underwent health examinations and were provided with necessary advice and medicines.
Advice on Preventing Illness Amidst Changing Weather
Health experts advised attendees at the fair on measures to prevent seasonal illnesses. Key recommendations included maintaining cleanliness, drinking boiled or purified water, and consuming a balanced diet. The objective of these efforts is to provide local villagers with healthcare facilities at their doorstep and to raise health awareness.
Continued Commitment to Public Health Services
The administration has assured that similar camps will continue to be organized in the future to ensure easier access to better health services for the general public. All medical personnel present at the fair diligently served the patients.
