108 Devotees Depart from Devipatan to Ayodhya in Pilgrimage Buses
Three buses carrying 108 devotees were flagged off from the Shri Devipatan Shaktipeeth in Balrampur to Ayodhya Dham for a three-day religious journey.
Pilgrimage Begins to Ayodhya Dham
On Thursday, September 4, 2026, three pilgrimage buses, carrying a total of 108 devotees, were respectfully dispatched from the premises of the famous Shri Devipatan temple in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, to Ayodhya Dham. These devotees are embarking on a three-day religious journey.
The buses were officially flagged off for their journey to Ayodhya by the Peethadheeshwar of Devipatan Temple, Mahant Mithilesh Nath Yogi, amidst Vedic chants. The entire temple complex resonated with slogans of 'Jai Shri Ram' and 'Maa Pateshwari' during this auspicious occasion.
Devotees Eager for Spiritual Journey
The group of devotees, hailing from Mansi and led by BJP leader Dr. Vishal Mishra, commenced their pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham. A palpable atmosphere of enthusiasm and deep faith was observed among the travellers concerning their journey.
Before the buses departed, all devotees offered prayers to Maa Pateshwari, seeking a pleasant and auspicious journey. They then proceeded to embark on their spiritual sojourn.
Ayodhya: A Spiritual Epicenter
The Peethadheeshwar of Devipatan Temple, Mahant Mithilesh Nath Yogi, stated on this occasion that Ayodhya Dham is not merely a pilgrimage site but a foremost centre of Sanatan culture, dignity, and spiritual consciousness.
He expressed his belief that this three-day religious journey will infuse the devotees' lives with spiritual energy and positivity. Upon reaching Ayodhya, the devotees will not only have the opportunity to seek blessings from Prabhu Shri Ramlala but will also gain insights into the Treta Yuga culture and the ideals of Maryada Purushottam Bhagwan Shri Ram.
Community Support for Pilgrims
Present at the departure of this significant religious journey were the temple's chief priest, Pandit Mateshwari Prasad Tripathi, along with Arun Kumar Gupta, Ritesh Kumar Dwivedi, Pankaj Singh, Shyam Sundar Tiwari, and a large number of local workers and devotees.
Those in attendance warmly welcomed the pilgrims with flower garlands, extending their best wishes for a safe and blessed journey. The event marked a strong sense of community support for the devotional undertaking.
