Flag Hoisting Ceremony at 107 RAF Battalion
On the occasion of the nation's 80th Independence Day, August 15, 2026, a dignified and patriotic ceremony was held at the 107 Rapid Action Force (RAF) Battalion in Bangrasia, Raisen district. The battalion's Commandant, Shri Deepak Kumar Srivastava, unfurled the national flag.
Following the flag hoisting, attending officers and jawans saluted the tricolor while singing the national anthem. Commandant Shri Deepak Kumar Srivastava extended his warm wishes to all officers, jawans, and their families for Independence Day.
He stated that the nation's freedom is the result of the sacrifice, struggle, and martyrdom of countless freedom fighters and brave soldiers, emphasizing that preserving the nation's unity, integrity, and security is the paramount duty of every citizen.
Homage to Brave Soldiers
During the Independence Day celebrations, the names of CRPF's brave soldiers who have been honored with the Shaurya Chakra, Gallantry Medal, and Distinguished Service Medals for their indomitable courage, valor, devotion to duty, and distinguished services in the nation's service were read out.
At the mention of their names, the officers and personnel present at the ceremony paid respectful homage to those heroes who prioritized national interest above all else, even in adverse circumstances. The jawans present recalled their bravery and sacrifice, reiterating their commitment to the nation's security and service.
Pledge of Loyalty to National Interest
On this solemn occasion, the attending officers and personnel pledged to discharge their duties with complete loyalty, discipline, and dedication towards protecting the nation's unity, integrity, sovereignty, and internal security.
The Second-in-Command Officer, Shri Manish Gorakh Mahale, along with other officers and a large number of personnel from the battalion, were present at the ceremony. An atmosphere of enthusiasm and patriotism permeated the entire campus.
